When you consider that there are now more than 15,000 of Banner's 35,000 employees who have worked with Banner five years or longer, I believe you'd have to conclude that Banner is a worthwhile, satisfying Journey.
One of the most important aspects of Banner's Journey is the relationship between employees and their supervisors. This relationship is based upon mutual trust that is built by open, regular communication between you and your supervisor. We are convinced that this direct line of communication is the foundation of an engaged and productive workplace, as opposed to an indirect line of communication that is "brokered" by a union representative.
In fact, Banner Health's Board of Directors has taken a firm position to uphold our current philosophy of operating our services union-free, and to ensure that the direct line of communications between an employee and manager remains open.
The information on this Web site is to help you better understand unions and what your options are should you be approached by an individual who is seeking to bring a union into Banner Health.
Thank you for your continued dedication to Banner Health's nonprofit mission of making a difference in people's lives through excellent patient care.
